Admissions Open (M. Phil/ PhD in various departments)

According to the charter of the University, admission is open to persons of either sex, race, creed, colour or domicile who are academically qualified for admission to the courses offered by the University. No such person shall be denied the privileges of the University on the grounds only of gender, religion, creed, caste, race, class, colour or domicile.

Applications are invited for M.Phil/ P.hD in following Departments:

M.PHIL PROGRAME

• Chemistry
• Mathematics
• Biological Sciences
• Agriculture and Food Technology
• Environmental Sciences
• Behavioral Sciences
• Educational Development
• Media and Communication (subject to availability of PhD professors)
• Physics (subject to availability of PhD professors)

  ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

• Sixteen years of schooling or 4 year education (130 Credit Hours) after HSSC/FA/F.Sc/Grade 12 equivalent will be required for admission in the M.Phil/ MS.
• The GAT-General conducted by the National Testing Service with a minimum 50% cumulative score will be required at the time of admission to M.Phil/MS. The GAT- General test is valid for a period of two years.
• No third division throughout the career.

  ADMISSION Schedule

• Dead line for submission of application is April 20th 2013.
• Application Form can be obtained from the admission office Karakoram International University, Gilgit-Baltistan.
• No application will be received after due date.
