Admissions 2008-09

According to the charter of the University, admission is open to persons of either sex, , race, creed, colour or domicile who are academically qualified for admission to the courses offered by the University. No such person shall be denied the privileges of the University on the grounds only of gender, religion, creed, caste, race, class, colour or domicile.

Selection

The admission committee will supervise the selection for admission. Admissions to University is based on merit and each student allocated an admission score calculated by taking a set percentage from previous academic achievement and the entrance test as shown below

Application Procedure

Applications for admission to the 2009 session will be accepted according to the schedule given above. information on admission and application forms can be purchased for Rs. 700 from the University Admission Office at following address:

The completed application should be mailed or delivered to the Admission Office, which is open Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 4 PM according to the schedule given above.

Late applications will not be accepted.

The merit lists will be displayed on the notice board as well as on the University website.
