Launching Ceremony of International Conference on Early Childhood Development held at AIOU Islamabad Prof. Zia ul Qayum. Vice Chancellor KIU Prof. Dr. Attaullah Shah, VC AIOU and Mr. Sadruddin  Rupani Chairman Rupani Foundation were the Chief Guests. Representatives from DFID, Rupani Foundation, UNICEF, Planning Commission of Pakistan, BARKA, FM99 and many other notables also participated during the event. The conference will be held in Sep 2019. Ms Khadija Khan CEO Alliance for Early Childhood presented review of the previous events and its follow up. Prof. Nasir Mehmood welcomes the delegates. Chairman Rupani Foundation appreciated the teamwork of partners in promotion the cause and benefits of ECD. Vice Chancellor KIU shared the follow up and progress of ECD training and Research Centre at KIU. VC AIOU assured his all support for the success of forthcoming conference at AIOU. Furthermore, VC KIU informed that before conference, specifically in the context of GB a 2 day policy dialogue and workshop will be held at KIU towards the end of Aug 2019. The representatives of Government and donors also showed their keen interest and assured support for the conference.
