3rd International Conference on Emerging Trends in Engineering Management and Sciences ICETEMS-3 Peshawar segment started at the City University of Science and IT Peshawar. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Asif Khan Vice Chancellor University of Peshawar (former VC KIU) was the Chief Guest and Mr. Sabur SETHI President City University was guest of honor. Conference Chair Prof. Dr. Attaullah Shah welcome the keynote speakers from the USA, Oman, UK, Malaysia, and UAE as well as more than 150 delegates from different parts of the country. Vice Chancellor KIU/ Conference Chair while giving the background of conference shared that ICETEM series of conferences was started in 2014 in collaboration with CDA, East Carolina University, and Auburn University USA was held in Pak China Friendship Centre Islamabad. The second Conference of the series was held in 2016 at City University. This time the conference has been planned in two parts. The second segment will be held on Nov 10-11, 2018 at KIU Gilgit. In both Conference segments at City University and KIU, about 200 research papers and 25 invited talks will be presented.
Vice Chancellor KIU appreciated the support of Mr. Sabur SETHI and his family for promoting high-quality education and research in KP through more than 22 Schools, Colleges and City University. He thanked the keynote speakers and delegates. He showed his desire to collaborate with City University and other partner Universities in the areas of staff exchange, Student exchange, Joint research projects, Joint academic programs etc. In the end, Conference shields were presented to the keynote speakers and chief guest.
