The Higher Education Commission (HEC) and the Intellectual Property Organization (IPO) has jointly notified the approval to establish the Technology Innovation Support Centre (TISC) at KIU. TISC shall function under the supervision of the Office of Research Innovation and Commercialization (ORIC) at KIU. KIU shall now be eligible to have access to patent as well as scientific and technical literature databases.
