In an effort to build strong community partnership, Vice Chancellor, Karakoram International University, Prof. Dr. Attaullah Shah met a delegation of Gilgit-Baltistan Police, led by Inspector General Police Sanaullah Abbasi.

In the meeting, cooperation between both Karakoram International University and Gilgit-Baltistan was discussed and it was agreed to extend collaboration in a range of specific areas, including Good Governance practices, Community Policing, Capacity building of Police officers through the provision of training courses, resource sharing and curbing menace of extremism through awareness campaigns.

Gilgit-Baltistan Police will also offer internship opportunities to students of Karakoram International University to enhance their professional skills.

Vice Chancellor said that University is keen to partner with public institutions to enhance knowledge, professional skills, and institutional development.
