KIU and SCO will jointly establish first ever IT Park and Tech Incubation Centre at KIU. KIU will provide space for the Centre at its Commercial Centre. The funding shall be arranged by SCO from Federal Government Ministry of IT. Under the park the Computer and IT graduates will be provided with opportunities to develop their skills on the areas of software Development and connect with global IT market. SCO will provide State of the Art Networking facilities and high speed internet connectivity. Vice Chancellor KIU Prof. Dr. Attaullah Shah explained the objectives of the center at 40th meeting of KIU Syndicate. He informed that this IT Park will be a great step forward for developing the youth of the region and encourage them for technology businesses. The KIU Syndicate appreciated the collaboration of KIU and SCO for establishing IT Park and Tech Incubation Centre at KIU.
