A soft lunch ceremony in this context was held at Serena Hotel and Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Attaullah Shah, Dr. Khalil Ahmed, Dr. Muhammad Ramzan and Dr. Moazzam Nizami from KIU also participated besides other dignitaries from Govt departments. In his speech, Vice Chancellor KIU assured all kinds of support to the UNDP in the areas of data collection, awareness and education and policy-making for the success of the project. He also shared with the audience that Centre of Climate Change and Glacial Studies is being established at KIU where modern labs will be available for the education and research in these areas.
