Vice Chancellor KIU Prof. Dr. Attaullah Shah visited NIH and convened an important meeting with Executive Director and other senior members including Dr. Uzma, Dr. Salman, and Dr. Faheem from NIH. The expert team from NIH will visit KIU preferably in mid of Oct to check the present status of Bio-safety Lab and suggest further steps to commission it to Public Health Lab. Vice Chancellor KIU will collaborate with Health Department GB for using the lab for public health testing. VC KIU informed that under the ORIC, KIU has planned to upgrade and commercialize its labs and the support of NIH will be pivotal in this direction. Later souvenir of both institutions was exchanged
