The Vice Chancellor gives away the HEC French Need Based scholarship cheques to 32 students

The cheques of HEC French Need Based Scholarship have been distributed among 32 students of KIU. Prof. Dr.  Muhammad Asif Khan, Vice Chancellor KIU gave away about over 32 lacs worth cheques to the students of different departments of Bachelor programmes. Apart from the students, higher officials of KIU including Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ramzan organizer HEC French Need Based Scholarship programme, Mr. Abdul Hameed Lone, Registrar KIU, Dr. Sartaj Ali, Mr. Muhammad Ilyas, Mr. Khurshid Ahmad, Secretary Scholarship committee Mr. Saeed Ahmad were also present on this occasion. VC had devised a committee comprised of senior faculty for the judicious distribution of the scholarship. The committee scrutinized the applications followed by the personal interviews of the students and sent the list of the deserving students to HEC. 32 students among the list were finally selected for the scholarship. It should be noted that the aforementioned scholarship is given to the talented students of the university by French Government.
