KIU team will work hard under the patronage if Governor and CM GB to come to the expectations of people of GB. This was stated by Vice Chancellor KIU while meeting with Honorable GB Mir Ghazanfar Ali Khan along with other team members from KIU. VC and his team paid high tribute to the support of Governor and CM in establishing of KIU and it’s sub-campuses at Hunza, Ghizer, and Chilas. They discussed various developments at main campus and sub-campuses. Governor GB emphasized the need for skill and vocational education to enable various tiers of the human resource so that they can create their own jobs in society. VC shared with him his plan of establishing Skill Development Centers at main campus and sub-campuses in collaboration with NAVTEC and Hashoo Foundation. KIU will also establish two centers and three new departments for females. This will include Women Vocational Training Centre, Women Business Incubation & Development Centre.  Department of Home Eco, Department of Gender Studies and Department of design and Fine Arts. VC also shared his reforms plan in KIU Examination Board, for which a broad-based advisory Committee has been established. Governor GB appreciated the role of KIU in higher education and administering the external examination, through which, it has been serving the nook and corners of GB. Governor GB assured the KIU team his all kinds of support for the success and improvement of KIU.
