Vice Chancellor KIU Prof. Dr. Attaullah Shah participated in the launch ceremony of China Pakistan Joint Research Centre (CPJRC) at Quaid-i-Azam University. Ambassador of People Republic of China to Pakistan His Excellency Yao Jing was the Chief Guest. VC Islamic International University, VC QAU, Director UNESCO Ms Jensen, Executive Director Pog Huang, Chair Pak Academy of Sciences Prof Qasim Jan, Focal person of Centre Dr. Safdar Ali, VC Women University Peshawar Prof. Razia Sultan, Former VC Kohat University Prof Zabta Khan and more than 100 delegates participated. The aim of the Research Centre is to promote research along the CPEC route in Pakistan and outside.

Karakorum International University Gilgit Baltistan is partner in the project for establishing the Cryosphere and Climate Studies Centre. VC KIU also invited ambassador to KIU in last week of Oct, which he accepted.
