Prof. Dr.Attaullah Shah Vice Chancellor KIU met with the Honorable President of Pakistan and Chancellor KIU Mr.  Mamnoon Hussain.  During meeting with President, VC KIU shared his vision for the development of KIU based on quality, GB focused research, Engineering education and infrastructure development. He also shared his plans of establishing Medicinal Plants Outreach Centre at Hunza, Fisheries Research Centre at Ghizer and Business Development Centre at Diamer. Vice Chancellor also requested the Honorable President for helping in allotment a piece of land, where Business Incubation and Development Centre where the graduates of KIU can be groomed to connect with national and international markets. He also discussed the special incentives for TTS faculty in line with other employees of GB so that better talent can be retained. The Honorable President assures KIU all kinds of supports for KIU in view of its significance in the education and research in GB. VC invited Honorable President to the inaugural ceremonies of KIU Campus Ghizer, Diamer and foundation ceremony of Faculty of Engineering in August, which he graciously accepted. VC presented his books to Honorable President.
