Assistant Director (BPS-17) on Contract Position Vacant

Applications for the position of Assistant Director (BPS-17) on contract are invited from highly motivated candidates to work at Quality Enhancement Cell Affiliated Colleges (QECACs) at QEC main campus. Detail of the post is as below:

Position Assistant Director (BPS-17- (01 Post) Contract
Duration 6 months from the date of appointment but may be extended for another six months based on performance.
Pay Admissible as per rules  
Qualification Must have a relevant master’s degree (16 years) or above from a University or Institution recognized by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan.  
 
Minimum Experience required for Assistant Director:
At least Five (05) years of relevant experience of QA/QEC at any HEC recognized University. Preference will be given candidates having maximum experience in QEC
Required Skills of the Assistant Director:
  1. Must have a clear vision and depth of knowledge in the field of Quality Assurance in Higher Education.
  2. Managerial Skills
  3. Strong analytical and writing skills
  4. Experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Management
  5. Good Command and knowledge of MS Office and Analysis tools.
Role and Responsibilities of the Assistant Director/s:
  1. Act as a liaison between a focal person or change team at each allocated AC and the QECACs unit.
  2. Help each allocated AC in producing monitoring reports.
  3. Support implementation of quality assurance practices at ACs in compliance with the guidelines provided by QAA/HEC.
  4. Address queries and provide feedback received from each allocated AC.
  5. Collect academic data (of the AC) as advised by the QECACs.
  6. Provide inputs to the QECACs for plans and proposals for training AC faculty.
  7. Compile requisite data for preparation of a monitoring report as per the requirements of QECACs.
  8. Provide support for capacity building workshops at ACs.
  9. Support the Deputy Director with their responsibilities.
  10. Any other tasks assigned by Director/Deputy QEC.

  • The selection for the Assistant Director position will be made based on the project requirement, past academic record, experience as well as the performance in the interview.
