KIU Exchange Students Graduated from Yunnan Forestry Technological College, 12 Receive Merit Certificate
Karakoram International University (KIU) celebrated another milestone in its internationalization efforts as 34 exchange students successfully completed a one-year Semester Exchange Programme at Yunnan Forestry Technological College (YFTC), China.
According to the KIU Public Relations Office, YFTC organized a graduation ceremony to honor the graduating KIU students in recognition of their successful completion of the exchange programme. Throughout their stay in China, the students demonstrated outstanding academic performance and actively participated in a variety of curricular and co-curricular activities.
In recognition of their dedication and academic excellence, 12 KIU students were awarded merit certificates for their outstanding performance during the programme.
The exchange programme provided students with valuable international academic exposure, strengthened their intercultural competencies, and broadened their academic and professional perspectives. Students also benefited from YFTC’s supportive learning environment and high-quality educational facilities.

Acting Vice Chancellor KIU, Prof. Dr. Abdul Razaq, congratulated the graduating students on their remarkable achievement and appreciated the leadership, faculty, and staff of YFTC for their hospitality and continuous support throughout the programme. He stated that international academic experiences equip students with the knowledge, skills, confidence, and global outlook required to excel in their future careers and contribute meaningfully to society.
