A delegation from the Higher Education Commission (HEC), led by Prof. Dr. Saeed Badshah, Vice Chancellor of the University of Technology Nowshera, visited Karakoram International University (KIU) to review the quality and standards of its postgraduate programs.

According to KIU’s Public Relations Office, the delegation met with departmental heads and senior administrative officials. Prof. Dr. Abdul Razzaq, Director of the Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC), gave a comprehensive briefing on the performance, curriculum, and teaching methodologies of the university’s postgraduate programs.

The HEC team also visited KIU’s Graduate School, where they carefully assessed the academic environment, research facilities, and student resources.

The delegation appreciated KIU’s efforts in upholding academic quality and offered constructive suggestions for further improvement. This visit is part of HEC’s ongoing efforts to ensure the quality of higher education institutions across the country.

KIU Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Atta Ullah Shah thanked the delegation and reaffirmed the university’s commitment to delivering quality education. The visit served to strengthen KIU’s postgraduate programs and provided clear direction for future enhancements.
