Karakoram International University and Punjab IT Board has signed an MoU today in Islamabad to establish a Freelance Training Center at KIU. Under this Center, KIU will give training on various marketable skills to the youth of GB with a particular focus on women skills development. The training programs will be highly subsidised by Punjab IT Board. With the help of this center, youth of GB will be able to learn different skills about earning money by working online from their homes. KIU aims to empower and enable the youth of GB to contribute positively to economy of GB in particular and to Pakistan’s in general. Female youth of GB will be able to earn their bread and butter while working from their homes in a respectable manner.
