Flood Relief Work started by Provost Committee KIU. In the first phase, the committee led by worthy Vice Chancellor KIU, Senior Dean Prof. Dr. Khalil Ahmad, Provost Dr.Qamar Abbass, members of committee Dr.Ammar Hussain Dr. Mujeeb ur Rehman Dr. Asad and Dr.Jamal with a large number of Volunteer students visited the flood Affectees camp at Goroo Juglot and distributed food items to more than 50 families. On this occasion, VC KIU showed solidarity with the people in their hour of need and assured them of all kinds of support. KIU will arrange a medical camp in the area to provide medical facilities to children and old people. He announced that in the next phase, food items and clothes will be distributed in the areas of Bubar, Ashkoman Immit, and Darail Tangier. He advised the Director’s sub-campuses at Ghizer, Hunza, and Chilas to mobilize the volunteer students to provide possible assistance to people who need our support. On this occasion, Provost KIU thanked Vice Chancellor KIU for this initiative and assured all support. He announce that three desks will be established at the main campus and Sub campuses to collect food items medicines and clothes for flood Affectees. He requested all the supporters to deposit their donations in KIU Relief Fund.
