Mr. Farooq Ahmad is currently serving as a Lecturer in the Department of Management Sciences at Karakoram International University (KIU), Gilgit-Baltistan. He earned his MS in Finance from the prestigious Capital University of Science and Technology (CUST), Islamabad, where he developed a strong foundation in investment analysis, corporate finance, financial management, and corporate governance. With a passion for both teaching and research, he is actively involved in delivering core finance courses at the undergraduate level, mentoring students, and contributing to academic development initiatives within the department. His teaching interests include Financial Management, Investment Analysis, Corporate Finance, Entrepreneurial Finance, Financial Accounting, and Research Methods in Finance. Beyond the classroom, he is committed to guiding students in their academic and professional development through internship and thesis supervision. He also actively mentors student startup projects in the areas of accounting and finance, in collaboration with the Business Incubation Centre (BIC) at KIU. Mr. Farooq is dedicated to fostering academic excellence and bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application.
