Department of Modern Languages offers undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate degree programmes in Language and Linguistics at both campuses.

Currently faculty is conducting project on documentation and preservation of unwritten languages in Greater Karakoram, Himalayan and Hindu Kush Region of Gilgit Baltistan. 02 articles had been published in national and internationals journals and 04 workshops and conference were attended by the faculty and students.
