Appointment on regular/contract basis

Applications are invited for appointment on regular/contract basis against the following posts from eligible candidates:

1. Chief Security Officer                (BPS-18) 01
  • Second class Master degree with five-year service.
  • Second class Bachelor degree with ten-year service.
  •  Retired from Army/Police Officers at the rank of Major/SP respectively.
  •  Must possess good computing (including all packages of MS Office) internet and communication skills.  Demonstrated the ability to work as a team member.
2. Security Officer (BPS-17) 01
  •  Second class Master degree with five-year service.
  •   Second class Bachelor degree with Ten-year service.
  •  Retired Army/Police officers at the rank of Captain/DSP respectively.
  •   Must possess good computing (including all packages of MS Office). Internet and communication skills.  Demonstrated the ability to work as a team member.
3. Transport Officer            (BPS-17) 01
  •  Second Class Master degree or equivalent
  •   7 years relevant working experience in public sector institution.
  •   Must possess good computing (including all packages of MS Office), Internet and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated the ability to work as a team member.
4. Medical Officer (Female) (BPS-17) 01
  •   MBBS Degree with completion of house job
5. Executive Engineer (BPS-18) (Purely on temporary basis for 1 year) 01
  • B.Sc / BE in Civil Engineering (4-year degree) OR equivalent in the relevant subject from recognized institution by with 5 years’ experience in BPS-17 OR equivalent in the relevant field.
  • Must possess good computing (including all packages of MS Office) Internet and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated the ability to work as a team member.
6. Resident Auditor (BPS-17) 01
  •   2nd Class Master Degree
  •   MBA/BBA/Commerce and Economics or equivalent with 5 years’ experience in BPS-16 or equivalent in the relevant filed.
  •  2nd Class Bachelor Degree/B. Com with 7 years in BPS-16 or equivalent in the relevant field.
  •  Must possess good computing (including MS Office), Internet and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated the ability to work as a team member.

Conditions

  • Complete application along with attested copies of educational degrees’/mark sheet, experience certificates, CNIC, two Passport Size Photos with all other relevant documents should be submitted to Manager HR Office, Karakoram International University Gilgit, Gilgit-Baltistan. Application Form may be downloaded from KIU website www.kiu.edu.pk.
  • Only eligible candidates will be invited for Test/ Interview. Applicants working in government, semi-government, autonomous bodies should apply through proper channel. Advance copies and CVs via email will not be entertained.
  • Age relaxation is admissible as per government rules.
  • Applications for the posts should be supported with crossed postal order of amounting to 1000/- in the name of Treasurer, Karakoram International University Gilgit-Baltistan.
  • It must be noted that eligibility mentioned against each position is the minimum requirement.
  • The University reserves the right to postpone or cancel appointment against any advertised post without assigning any reason.

  • No TA/DA will be paid for test/interview.
