The 6th All Pakistan Intervarsity Men Skiing Championship2020-21 has been organized by Karakoram International University under the patron ship of the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan. The event was organized at Naltar Ski Resort of Gilgit/Baltistan from January 11-13, 2021. A total of six university teams participated in the event. A total of 24 players and 06 officials from the above-mentioned universities have participated. The majority of the teams arrived on January 10, 2021, and spent two days practicing. The final event was held on January 13, 2021, and the Vice-Chancellor KIU was the chief guest of the event.
The gold medal of the event won by the University of Central Punjab whereas silver medal was won by University of Punjab and Bronze medal won by Karakoram International University, Gilgit.
The Vice-chancellor KIU Prof. Dr. Attah Ullah Shah grace the final event as chief guest. He delivered closing remarks and distributed prizes among the winners.
Finally, I am extremely grateful to HEC for providing me the opportunity of organizing the event. It was their trust which enabled us to organize a successful event. My thanks also go to Pakistan Ski Federation and Pakistan Air Force for their unprecedented cooperation.
