Inauguration Ceremony of the School of Computing and Emerging Technologies at KIU

The School of Computing and Emerging Technologies (SC&ET) at Karakoram International University (KIU) was formally inaugurated by the Worthy Vice Chancellor, Engr. Prof. Dr. Attaullah Shah.

This important academic development was approved in the 43rd Academic Council meeting.

SC&ET consists of six departments: Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence & Data Science, Geographic Information System, and Cyber Security.

The establishment of the school was made possible under the leadership of Dr. Sabit Rahim, Chairperson of the Department of Computer Science.

After joining, Dr. Sabit Rahim initiated and secured the formal approval of SC&ET from the Academic Council.

The inauguration event was attended by Director QEC, Director Academics, Director ORIC, Director IPD, and senior faculty members.
