KIU and WWF signed MoU for collaboration to promote education and research in animal sciences. The MoU was signed by Vice Chancellor KIU Prof. Dr. Attaullah Shah and Engr. Hammad Naqi DG/CEO WWF at their office. Under the MoU both organizations will work together in the areas of research, policy making, education campaign and cooperation in the areas of Wildlife, Environment etc. Both institutions will also jointly establish Centre of Excellence for Wildlife Research. Earlier VC KIU appreciated the close collaboration with WWF GB office for joint research and activities to promote awareness and education about wildlife in GB. He informed that the students of KIU from departments of Life Sciences, Forestry and Environment will work with WWF in the areas of joint projects.
