World-renowned Mountaineer and Tracker Mr.Nazir Sabir along with Mr.Amin Muhammad GM SACHET met Vice-Chancellor KIU Engr. Professor Dr. Attaullah Shah at liaison office Islamabad and discussed the areas of mutual interest. VC KIU shared with them his plan of establishing Karakoram International Institute of Tourism Hospitality and Mountaineering which was highly appreciated. Mr.Sabir assured his all kinds of support in connecting KIU with world famous institutes in this area. He also proposed that KIU may establish mountain museum in the Cultural Heritage Centre so that the tools used by famous mountaineers of the region can be preserved. Mr.Amin Muhammad proposed to organize a mountain film festival by the Media Studies Department and assured his support in this context. Mr.Saranjam  Baig was also present on the occasion.
