To improve the process of quality assurance at KIU one day seminar was organized.  It was a combine effort of IBA Karachi and QEC of KIU. The seminar was organized through a video link. Apart from KIU staff, the officials of HEC and other universities also participated in this seminar. The senior faculty and senior management officers were present on this occasion. The seminar was held from 9 am to 6 pm. The guest speakers were Dr. Shahid Raza Mir, Director QEC IBA, Dr Rameez Khalid, Academic Director IBA Karachi, Director Finance Moeed Sultan, Audit Officer Fahad Rehman, and Director IT Mr Imran . They delivered lectures on human resource, learning management system, campus management system, finance, audit issues and budget planning and ISO Certification. On this occasion Director QEC Mir Tazeem said that HEC made it mandatory for all universities of Pakistan to have ISO certification. To achieve this purpose this seminar was held at KIU firstly. To arrange this seminar KIU took help from IBA Karachi. Director QEC further said that this seminar was very informative and very soon KIU will start working on ISO Certification.
