One Day workshop was held at KIU Hunza on Cyber Security, Emerging Technologies and SDGs in collaboration with Centre for Information Technology Islamabad. VC KIU Prof. Dr. Attaullah Shah was chief guest and SP Hunza Ms.Tahira Yasub was guest of honor. The resource person was former DG FIA, Mr. Ammar Jeffery. Panel Discussion was also held on the readiness of our society and GB on the modern technologies and SDGs. The participants from GB police, KIU Students and local community appreciated the themes of Conference. VC KIU in his speech informed the audience that KIU is being transformed as Technology Smart University with Campus Management System underway. He also announced that E-GB will be hosted by KIU. He informed that Centre for Emerging Technologies and GIS has been approved by KIU Syndicate. The department of CS will work closely for strengthening the E-GB chapter. The objective of E-GB is to modernize education, agriculture, governance and health sectors through modern technologies. Certificates were also distributed amongst the participants.
