Department of Linguistics and Literature, KIU Gilgit

The Department of Linguistics and Literature KIU arranged first ever Pak TESOL Regional Conference and a two-day Training workshop on, “Innovations in English Language Teaching and Learning” in collaboration with AIOU and PAK TESOL for the English Language Teachers of University, Colleges and Schools of GB.  The event was sponsored by RELO-US Embassy Islamabad. Dr. Alya Sohail, Former VC Rawalpindi Women University, Dr Shahid Ibrar-Ul-Hasan, Yorkville University Canada, Dr. Kamal Khan, AIOU Islamabad, Dr. Shamim Ara Shams and Ms. Samina Khan from KIU were the trainers. Acting VC KIU, Prof. Dr. Khalil, Registrar, Dean and many other faculty and administrative staff from KIU participated in opening and closing ceremony.
