Under the Presidential Initiative for Artificial Intelligence and Computing (PIAIC), The Higher Education Commission (HEC) and Huawei Technologies Pakistan Pvt. Ltd. jointly organized the first ever ‘Train the Trainers’ Training for Huawei Certified ICT Associate (HCIA) on Artificial Intelligence (AI) at HEC Secretariat, Islamabad. The eight-day training, conducted by Huawei AI Experts from China, was attended by Dr. Aftab Ahmed Khan, Assistant Professor, HoD Computer Sciences and Mr. Imran Ali, Lecturer Computer Sciences from Karakoram International University Gilgit along with 18 trainers from 10 other universities across Pakistan.  Dr. Aftab and Mr. Imran appeared in and qualified the Huawei Examinations for Certification in Associate Artificial Intelligence (HCIA-AI) and Huawei Certified Instructors in Artificial Intelligence (AI). This training is a part of Presidential Initiative for Artificial Intelligence and Computing (PIAIC).
