Tripartite Agreement was signed between KIU, Punjab IT Board and SCO for joint operation of Tech incubation centre to benefit the students and graduates of KIU for technology enabled self employment and businesses. According to the agreement KIU faculty will act as mentors and teachers whereas the Punjab IT Board will establish the Tech incubates from the perspective IT graduates of KIU and GB, develop them for tech businesses and connect them with national and international markets. The SCO will provide internet bandwidth, connectivity, and other related facilities for the success of the IT incubation Centre. Earlier DG SCO Gen Ali Farhan welcome the guests and explained the plans and opportunities being provided to the students of GB and KIU. He appreciated the role of KIU and PITB in technology enabled education and entrepreneurship. The Centre will be inaugurated by the Prime minister of Pakistan in mid of March. The Tech Incubation Centre will be a great step forward in empowering the youth of GB with Self Employable Tech Entrepreneurship.
