The Karakoram International University in partnership with the Rupani Foundation, Government of Gilgit Baltistan, Agha Khan Development Network, Hashoo Foundation, World Learning and Allama Iqbal Open University organized a two day seminar on Early Childhood Development with the theme titling “Transforming Society through Early Childhood Development on 10th and 11th September, 2018 at KIU main Campus Gilgit. The key objectives of the seminar were to review and discuss the overall progress made on Early Childhood Development by the Government and other institutions in Gilgit Baltistan and sharing of the best practices. The Seminar also discussed integrated, holistic, inclusive and multi-sectoral ECD programs in the specific context of Gilgit Baltistan. The Minister Works GB Dr. Muhammad Iqbal was the chief guest of the inaugural session of the seminar and the Minister Education Mr. Ibrahim Sanai was the chief guest of the concluding ceremony of the two days seminar.
