Vice Chancellor KIU Prof. Dr. Attaullah participated 2-day meeting of Indus Basin Forum arranged by ICIMOD at Dubai UAE. Meeting was attended by 25 experts from four countries of basin including Pakistan, India, Afghanistan and China. The main objective of the meeting was to identify the future research direction for impact of Climate Change on Indus Basin and also explore perspective funding opportunities. KIU will work in the Work package on Baseline Development for Hydrometeorology, Glacial Mapping and water resources. Besides KIU, COMSAT, Pak Meteorology Dep’t, AKRSP etc. also appreciated.
