Vice Chancellor KIU Prof. Dr. Attaullah met Secretary Kashmir Affairs and GB Mr. Tariq Mehmood Pasha to discuss the issues of student’s fee and financial challenges of KIU. The proposal of Higher Education Endowment Fund was also discussed. VC KIU explained that the PM Fee reimbursement scheme program for master program has been discontinued from springs 2018 and currently about 980 students of master program are not covered who were admitted in spring 2019. The proposal of Higher Education Endowment Fund to provide sustainable solution for the deserving and needy students. In this proposed fund, contribution from Federal Government, GB Government, Philanthropists, Civil Society, and NGOs etc. This fund shall be used for the Higher Education of underprivileged students of GB.
