Engr. Prof Dr. Attaullah Shah VC KIU visited the construction site of Faculty of Engineering to appraise the construction work of KIU Engineering Faculty. He discussed the revised design of block, which follow the construction work in line with the revised PC-1. PD works Engr. Shabbir Hussain, Dean FLS Dr. Khalil Ahmed, Dean FSSH Dr. Ramzan and Director IPD Mr. Ilyas were also present during the visit. VC advised to maintain quality standards of construction along the development of the site and completion of proposed horticulture plan. The horticulture plan shall be part of strengthening KIU’s agriculture department and to make KIU as a green campus following eco-friendly development policies including proper water supply to entire area. VC advised PD works that a rigorous construction plan may be developed and proper monitoring system to be in place to achieve quality standards. VC desired the completion of the project in stipulated time period and assured all support to the project. The project is already delayed for more than a year due to land dispute, which has been resolved amicably with the positive role played by all stakeholders.
