Dr. Mehtab joined Karakoram International University (KIU) in 2006 and currently serves as a Lecturer and Program Coordinator in the Department of Management Sciences. He earned his Ph.D. in Service Science with a major in Management from the prestigious National Tsing Hua University (NTHU), Taiwan, one of Asia’s top-ranked universities. During his doctoral studies, he was awarded the Excellent Student Scholarship by the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST), Taiwan.

He has further enriched his academic and professional profile through exchange scholar experiences at the University of Oregon (USA) and the University of South Australia (UniSA), bringing a global perspective to his teaching and research.

At KIU, Dr. Mehtab teaches a variety of undergraduate and graduate courses, including Strategic Management, Financial Accounting, Business Research Methods, and Entrepreneurship. He also supervises student internships, theses, and independent studies, and actively mentors student entrepreneurship projects in collaboration with the Business Incubation Centre (BIC) at KIU.

A professionally dedicated individual, Dr. Mehtab has consistently volunteered his services on various academic and administrative committees for the betterment of the university, its students, and the broader community. His strong commitment to institutional growth and student development is evident through his ongoing contributions.

His research interests focus on SDGs, tourism, strategic management, and organizational systems, exploring how these fields influence institutional effectiveness, and service ecosystems.
