I did Matriculation from my Home Town Chilas, Intermediate from Karachi, BS and MS (Mining Engineering) from UET Lahore. I never thought to become an Engineer especially Mining Engineer but, was fortunate enough to join UET Lahore and got BS and MS degrees. Thanks to KIU to appoint me as lecturer in Mining Engineering Department and later on giving opportunity to get MS degree on study leave. Being a Mining Engineer and part of academia i feel that we should give best ideas and techniques to explore minerals from Gilgit Baltistan as well as Pakistan. we should provide good quality Mining Engineers who can play an energetic role for mineral exploration.
